The Laboratory of Wireless Infrastructure and Network Security was established by Prof M. Chuah. The mission is to explore state-of-art techniques for designing future heterogeneous networks. We will be focusing on the architectural and protocol design for such networks. Examples of our work include designing disruption tolerant networks, useful applications of wireless sensor networks, designing integrated adhoc/sensor/cellular networks. In addition, our group also explore research issues in the area of network security. Specifically, we are working on mitigation techniques for DDoS attacks and automated worm detection mechanism.
